Hong Kong’s First Container Terminal Operator to Provide Free WiFi Services for Shipping Line Customers.
Hong Kong, Feb 11, 2010 – Altai Technologies, a carrier-grade Super WiFi equipment supplier today announced that Modern Terminals, the first purpose-built container terminal in Hong Kong, has selected Altai’s Super WiFi Solution to enable its new free WiFi service. Being the first container terminal operator to deploy WiFi technology in all its Terminals 1, 2, 5 and 9, Modern Terminals allows customers’ vessels berthing alongside to enjoy internet connection free of charge.

AVP SEA receives 2 awards at IBR Awards 2009

Being a staff of AVP’s family, we were proud to receive 2 awards on 19 November 2009 at Putrajaya International Convention Centre, namely 2009 International Business Review Corporate Award for Excellence in the Telecommunications Sector and 2009 International Business Review CEO Award for Leadership in the Information Technology Sector. All staff of AVP (SEA) were invited to attend the awards presentation with dinner served.
